As an international organisation, Fuji Xerox is committed to protecting and preserving the environment. 

Growing awareness of the finite nature of our raw materials and energy resources is steering consumers towards companies with eco-friendly work practices.

Our goal, first and foremost, is to minimise the negative environmental impact of all Fuji Xerox activities. An efficient instrument for the attainment of this goal is the environmental management system ISO14001.

Zero waste has become a reality; we offer our customers a free 100% Take Back Policy of Fuji Xerox equipment and consumables. Hassle free and environmentally responsible, just call 0800 4XEROX (0800 493 769) and we will collect and process it through our recycling systems.

All of the recovered end of life machines and equipment, plus all of the used consumables are recycled in New Zealand, achieving a better than 99.5% material recovery.

Our environmental responsibility extends to paper and supplies. The Office Supplies Division of Fuji Xerox New Zealand Limited is fully aligned with Fuji Xerox’s corporate environmental strategies. We’re helping Fuji Xerox to achieve these important goals:

• To reduce environmental impact throughout product lifecycle stage.
• To offer outstanding environmentally-conscious products and eco-solutions to our customers.
• To establish a system for managing a performance index that relates to environmental impact.

Fuji Xerox, as an active member of the GPN (Green Purchasing Network) fully complies with its guidelines for ‘Printing & Copying’ paper procurement. All our paper suppliers have proven and internationally recognized certifications towards the environment and are eco-conscious to the best level.

Our paper suppliers are committed to the sustainable sourcing  of their raw materials and from October 2008, almost 95% of the paper sold by Fuji Xerox New Zealand are obtained from mills that are FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) or PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes) certified and have an immaculate track record of forestry management throughout the world, protecting the eco-system and lives of indigenous people and significantly contributing to reduce the CO2 emissions from the fossil fuel used in the paper manufacturing process.

The Office Supplies Division of Fuji Xerox New Zealand sets the industry benchmark for operational excellence, supply chain management, innovation and environmental protection in cooperation with its partners.

Fuji Xerox Office Supplies Division has recently obtained Chain of Custody Certification under both FSC & PEFC schemes as recognition of its efforts to promote sustainability.
