In 2016 Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific were the first company in the document management and solutions field to be a Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) GOLD Community Member. This achievement, and our participation at the 5th GRI global conference, strengthens our leadership in sustainability issues in the Asia Pacific r

The GRI GOLD Community launched in early 2016 to shape a sustainable future. Its members come from civil groups, the business world, labour organisations and intergovernmental agencies. This independent, international organisation helps stakeholders to understand and communicate on critical sustainability issues, such as climate change and the value of sustainability reporting.

As a GOLD Community member, we are an active Global Reporting Initiative supporter. We are proud to be at the heart of the community, shaping the future of sustainability and reporting. We take our role in moving towards a more sustainable economy and world very seriously.

Fuji Xerox New Zealand was a finalist in the Business Leadership category of the Ministry for the Environment’s 2016 Green Ribbon Awards. We were recognised for taking a leadership role in sustainability, by demonstrating sector excellence in closed loop production and waste minimisation through our Zero Landfill Stewardship Scheme.

Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific was awarded ‘Best Green Company of the Year’ in 2016. 

The Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability Awards recognise successful companies and individuals in two main areas: leadership and corporate social responsibility.

PEFC ST 2002:2013 - certified in 2014

Gaining this international standard verifies that we have a system in place that effectively tracks all certified and other raw materials that go into the production of Fuji Xerox paper. It shows that our staff are trained and we comply with PERC’s strict requirements.

Chain of Custody Certification

Forest Stewardship Council – certified in 2014

This attests to our use of a system which tracks the wood-based material that go into the production of our copying and printing paper. The certification assures Fuji Xerox customers about the origin of our products, and that they contain FSC-certified components

ISO 27001:2013 – awarded November 2016 

An audit by an independent certification body demonstrated that Fuji Xerox met the global information security specifications set by the International Organisation for Standardisation and the International Electrotechnical Commission. 

Environmental Management Systems Accreditation

ISO 14001:2004 - certified June 2016

This international information security standard covers the management of environmental aspects and impacts associated with our financing, sales, servicing and warehousing of photocopying equipment and associated products. Our certification shows that Fuji Xerox is aware of our environmental obligations and is reducing our environmental impact.

Waste Minimisation Act 2008 Accreditation

Product Stewardship Scheme – accredited March 2015

Fuji Xerox was independently assessed and our scheme meets the requirements for measurable waste minimisation, the treatment of disposal objectives and the promotion of waste minimisation/reduction of environmental harm over the life cycle of our products.
