Scam Alert: Malaysian Travel Scratchies

13 August 2019 — Fuji Xerox New Zealand has received reports of recent scam flyers mailed to people in New Zealand from Malaysia by a fictitious company called ‘Nobel Tourism’ or ‘Verticas Leisure Tour’. The flyers offer recipients a chance to win large sums of cash and other prizes through a scratchie ticket contest.

The Fuji Xerox logo has been falsely used on these tickets, depicting our company as a ‘supporter’ of the contest. Fuji Xerox has no affiliation with these companies whatsoever and our logo has been used without consent.

These types of Malaysian travel scratchie scams are common and the Department of Internal Affairs maintains an extensive list of them under the Postal Scams section on its website.

Fuji Xerox advises anyone that has received one of these flyers not to respond and instead to contact Consumer Protection NZ at:

Please also report it to the Commerce Commission at:

Fuji Xerox has notified the relevant authorities in New Zealand and overseas about these scams. However for additional information please contact Kevin Ptak, Marketing Communications Manager, on 021 275 4321.
